Description

Staring higher.. higher.. and higher at the immensity of this tree you nearly fall over the knoll behind you into the creek.

Just playing with ideas with the camera. Used a bit of desaturation, and played with ideas of subject matter and focus.
C&C welcome, I want to get better and you can help!

Nice tones and a great black and white. Though I think the composition needs a little work. Maybe move more to the right third IMO (Rule of Thirds). Also, maybe posting it a little smaller, it looses it's effect in a way when scrolling to look at it. But maybe that was the plan? It makes it seem like it goes on forever, so I guess a job greatly done. :) Keep up the great work!!

Height at 670 pixel would be better.
Try also a tighter crop, more like 2 by 3 ratio.

Add a nice frame too! :)

Nice angle! :)

Great perspective. It looks over exposed behind the tree.

Really cool angle!!! I agree with Patrick's suggestions, as usual...

I like it. It makes me feel that I'm looking up even though I'm staring straight ahead. The sky seems a bit noisy which can be corrected with a noise reduction program such as Neat Image. I'd clone out those 2 small bright spots in the lower right.

Nice work!

Thank you for the crits~ I will give the cropping/placement mentioned by moserArtist/ Varutasu and cloning out mentioned by Ms. MichelleLynn a go and we will see how it turns out :)
